LLC “Ukrstarch” is a modern, high-tech enterprise engaged in a promising and economically attractive field for Ukraine and the world — deep corn processing — with the ability to produce both feed and food products. LLC “Ukrstarch” is the only company in Ukraine whose production involves the microbiological synthesis of the essential amino acid L-lysine, a nutritional feed additive for animals, using a widely available agricultural crop as raw material.
As a result of deep corn processing, the company produces corn gluten, fiber, germ, and L-lysine. These products are intended for use as feed ingredients for farm animal diets. Corn germ also serves as a source of corn oil.
